Division will not pilot new curriculum

Due to the continued impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, our Division will not be piloting the draft curriculum next school year. Our Division is offering family choice for in-person and online learning in the first half of the 2021-22 school year.

To ensure continuity of learning as we look towards a potential return to in-person instruction for the second half of the school year, we need to ensure the same curriculum is being used Division-wide for both our online and in-person students. Both continuity of learning and family choice have been pillars of our Division Re-entry Strategy.

At this time, our Division will take time to thoughtfully review the curriculum materials and provide feedback to Alberta Education.
