Statement on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

Today, we mourn the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, a committed public servant. For 70 years, Her late Majesty dedicated her life and service to her country, people and the Commonwealth.

There is much we can all learn from her legacy. She inspired us with her dedication to charitable work, her sense of responsibility and humility, and her love for her country and the Commonwealth.

As we take time to reflect on her contributions, on behalf of Edmonton Public Schools, we extend our condolences.
