Kim Hung School and Shauna May Seneca School students will have new schools to attend on September 5, 2017, the first day of the new school year, as planned. The big changes are that Kim Hung and Shauna May Seneca schools' students will attend host schools until the winter break because of construction delays at both schools.
After the winter break on January 8, 2018, the students and staff will move together to their permanent location and carry on with the rest of the year.

The principals and teachers of the four schools involved will do everything they can to make the students feel comfortable and the move to the new schools as smooth as possible after the winter break.

Jan Reimer, Kim Hung, Michael Phair and Shauna May Seneca schools will all have closed boundaries for the 2017-2018 school year. This means the schools will only accept students in their primary attendance area.

To help affected families, Edmonton Public Schools will provide yellow bus service to any Kim Hung and Shauna May Seneca students who need it at no cost. We are also looking into out-of-school care options.
