Continued yellow bus delays expected in September

UPDATE: Our yellow school bus carriers have told us to expect continued delays with yellow bus service over the coming weeks because of driver shortages.

Student Transportation is working closely with our carriers to minimize disruptions as much as possible, report delays when they occur and provide updated information to schools about impacted routes. Our carriers are working hard to recruit and train drivers as quickly as possible.

During this busy time, families are asked to check Where’s My Bus? in SchoolZone every day for updates on delays.

Student Transportation is also working with carriers to provide route-specific information to schools to help families make decisions about getting their child to school.

We know these delays are disruptive to families, and we appreciate your patience and understanding. If your child’s bus is significantly delayed, we encourage you to drive your child, if possible.
