A new school year is underway at Edmonton Public Schools and we’re excited to welcome you back from summer break. If you’re new to the Division or need a refresher on where to find some important information, you’ve come to the right place.

Health and safety information

The Division is using many strategies that work together to protect our school communities and keep staff and students as safe as possible. Read our COVID-19 information.

SchoolZone

SchoolZone is a secure website that holds important information about your child’s learning. Sign in to SchoolZone to find out more about homework, attendance records, progress reports and school events. 

SchoolMessenger

SchoolMessenger is an urgent message system that can call and text you when there is an emergency, like a fire or evacuation, at your child’s school. Learn more about SchoolMessenger and how to sign up.

Transportation

Existing riders can find their bus route information on SchoolZone. If you’re new to the Division, or your child is starting Kindergarten and using the bus for the first time, your bus route information is mailed to you. Learn more about transportation services for students

Slow down

We want to remind motorists to slow down as students head back to classes. Drivers are required to slow to 30 km/h in all in playground zones from 7:30 a.m.–9 p.m. every day.
