Expanding alternative program locations for 2018-19

Edmonton Public Schools is expanding some of the District’s most popular alternative programs for the 2018-2019 school year in areas of the city where there is high demand.
The following programs will be offered for the 2018-19 school year:

| Arabic Bilingual | D.S. MacKenzie School | Grade 7 |
| Cogito | Dickinsfield School | Grade 7 |
| Cogito | Horse Hill School | Kindergarten or Kindergarten and Grade 1 Depending on demand during pre-enrolment |
| French Immersion | Crawford Plains School | Kindergarten or Kindergarten and Grade 1 Depending on demand during pre-enrolment |
| French Immersion | Oliver School | Kindergarten or Kindergarten and Grade 1 Depending on demand during pre-enrolment |
| Logos Christian | Kensington School | Grade 7 Depending on demand during pre-enrolment |
The programs will be offered if:
- enough students enrol before the pre-enrolment deadline
- the same number of students, or more, attending the program in the fall
If there are not enough students enrolled in the program, the program will not be offered.
HOW TO REGISTER
NEW TO EDMONTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS (including those entering Kindergarten): Complete a Student Registration form and submit it to the school you would like to attend. You can also pick up a paper copy of the form from any District school.
CURRENT DISTRICT STUDENTS: Select your child's preferred school and program by pre-enrolling through SchoolZone from March 12 to April 16, 2018.
The deadline to register is April 16, 2018.
