Edmonton Public Schools is excited to announce that Terwillegar Southwest will be included in the designated attendance area for Esther Starkman School for the 2022–23 school year.
In 2014, Edmonton Public Schools redesignated the Terwillegar Southwest neighbourhood to Lansdowne School for K–6 and Avalon School for Grades 7–9 to create space at Esther Starkman School.
After carefully monitoring enrolment for the last few years, growth at Esther Starkman School has stabilized and there is now enough space to include the Terwillegar Southwest neighbourhood in the primary attendance area once again.

Yellow bus service will be available for eligible K-6 students in Terwillegar Southwest attending their designated school. Edmonton Transit Service (ETS) is the preferred transportation service for junior high students.
Students from the Terwillegar Southwest area who are attending Lansdowne School for Kindergarten to Grade 6 or Avalon School for Grades 7–9 can stay at the school, if they wish. However, yellow bus service for students attending Lansdowne or Avalon schools will not be available, as they will no longer be attending their designated school.
New students to Edmonton Public Schools will be able to register from February 1 to April 14, 2022. Current Edmonton Public Schools students can pre-enrol between March 8 and April 14, 2022.
