Congratulations to our distinguished leaders!

We're pleased to congratulate the recipients of this year’s Distinguished Leadership Award, presented by the Alberta Teachers’ Association’s Council for School Leadership.
The Distinguished Leadership Award celebrates principals and assistant principals who challenge the status quo and act as role models for other educational leaders.
The recipients from Edmonton Public Schools for 2015-2016 are:
- Judith Boyle, Principal at Talmud Torah School
- Diane Brown, Assistant Principal at Kensington School
- Brad Burns, Principal at Highlands School
- Laurie Caines, Principal at Montrose School
- Tanis Marshall, Principal at George H. Luck School
- Mike Morison, Principal at Rutherford School
- Shauna Paul, Principal at Westbrook School
- Linda Speelman, Principal at Mee-Yah-Noh School
ABOUT THE COUNCIL FOR SCHOOL LEADERSHIP
The Council for School Leadership (CSL) is a provincewide community of principals and assistant principals committed to the promotion and advancement of excellent practices in educational leadership. The CSL provides avenues for research and sharing of best practices, and gives members an opportunity to network with one another and act as mentors to new colleagues.
We’re proud to see so many of our District’s leaders receiving this award and contributing to the development of educational leadership across Alberta.
