Nominees for the 2020 Edwin Parr Award

the March 10 Board meeting, Edmonton Public Schools recognized six outstanding teachers for the Edwin Parr Award for first year teachers.

The finalists were:

Lauren Ackerman, Gold Bar School
Darcy Holliday, Athlone School
Taylor Jones, McNally School
Riplea Lothian, Norwood and Spruce Avenue schools
Lindsay Miyagishima, Westmount School
Kristine O'Driscoll, Dan Knott School

Darcy Holliday was selected as the Division honorary nominee and will move forward to represent Edmonton Public Schools in the Alberta School Boards Assocation (ASBA) zone finals. Congratulations to everyone! Check out photos from the award presentation.
