Highlights of January 20, 2015 Public Board Meeting

At the January 20 public board meeting, Michael Janz was acclaimed as the new Chair, and Michelle Draper the new Vice-Chair, of the Edmonton Public School Board. He replaces Sarah Hoffman, who stepped down as the board chair earlier this week.

First Elected Student Trustee Makes History

History was made at yesterday’s Edmonton Public School Board meeting when Johannah Ko, a Grade 12 student at Edmonton Christian High School, was elected by a group of her peers to serve as the first student trustee.
